Parking ticket on Marlboro Day annoys local resident

Many towns throughout New Jersey have a day to promote community spirit and pride. Marlboro is no exception. On Sept. 9 all were invited to attend “Marlboro Day.”

Well, you can just imagine the outrage felt by dozens of residents who upon returning to their cars found a traffic violation ticket on their windshields. Parking within 50 feet of an intersection is what the violation read.

The officer whom I confronted giving me the ticket stated, “When you leave I’ll come back and give a ticket to the next person who takes your spot.” Way to go, Marlboro! You have created another “proud” resident.
