Siegfried Langer

   SOLEBURY, PA — Siegfried K. Langer, 79, longtime Solebury, Pa. resident died Sept. 10 at his home.
   He was born April 23, 1928, in Patterson, to Hans and Gertrud Langer, both deceased. At the age of 2 he moved to Erzegebirge, Germany with his parents and then returned to the United States in the mid-1940s.
   He was in the U.S. Army for several years after which he returned to the bakery business. Mr. Siegfried was a baker his entire adult life and owned and ran Langers Bakery in Lambertville for many years. Since his “retirement,” he worked at several local bakeries.
   In his retirement years Mr. Siegfried enjoyed bird watching. His favorite thing to do was play cards with his family. His family wrote: “Dad’s generosity and kind heart were an inspiration to his family. He lived his life with respect for others and a love of his family above all else.”
   He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Douglas Rutherford, of Robbinsville; son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Suzanne Langer, with whom he resided in Solebury, Pa.; and grandchildren, Ryan, Jason, Kyle (and Samantha) and Ashley Rutherford, and Ann Marie James.
