Vito Resta

   HILLSBOROUGH — Vito Francesco Resta died Sept. 21 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. He was 94.
   He was born and raised in Gioia dal Colle, Italy, and came to the United States in 1929 to East Chester, N.Y., moving to Middlebush in 1940, and finally to Hillsborough in 1982.
   Mr. Resta was a farmer for many years.
   He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Hillsborough.
   His brother, Angelo Resta, is deceased.
   Surviving are his wife, Estelle Resta; his son, Frank V. of Hillsborough; his daughter, Dolores Rowland of Somerset; his brother, Phillip Resta of Somerset; and one grandchild.
   Funeral services were held Sept. 24 from Hillsborough Funeral Home in Hillsborough, followed by a Mass at St. Joseph’s Church.
   Entombment was in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
