Hornik will bring honest, ethical government to Marlboro

As a longtime (39 years) former resident of Marlboro, it is with great delight and enthusiasm that I write this letter of support for Jon Hornik, who is running for mayor of Marlboro.

I have know the Hornik family for many years; his mother Nancy and his father Saul, and I can testify that this family has been dedicated, by action, to making Marlboro a better place to live and raise your children.

In my opinion, the Hornik name is synonymous with integrity, honesty and hard work. Jon has now taken up this proud tradition and has put himself forward to run for mayor in order to make Marlboro a better place for you and your family.

I have firsthand seen Jon in his role as a volunteer as a soccer coach and baseball coach as well as with other community organizations. He has approached each with the zeal to be the best he can be and to teach our children the skills they need to be successful in a sport as well as in life.

Jon was willing to put his name on the line as one of the founding members of the Reform Democratic organization because of his belief that there was a need for change; and their certainly is a need for change after 16 years of Republican “rule” and corruption on both sides of the aisle.

Jon will bring honest, ethical and thoughtful government to Marlboro and make you proud to be a resident of Marlboro. I urge all of my friends and former neighbors to vote for change and give their vote to Jon Hornik for mayor and to Frank LaRocca and Randi Marder for Township Council.
