Henry J. Sutter
Mr. Sutter, 82, of Sayreville, died Sept. 27, 2007, at home. Prior to his retirement in 1988, he worked as a research biochemical technician at Bristol-Myers Squibb, New Brunswick and Princeton. He was a secretary to the Sayreville Zoning Board of Adjustment and a Sayreville Democratic Committeeman. Surviving are his wife, Catherine Auer Sutter; a son, Henry J., and his wife, Maureen, of Manalapan; a daughter, Sheila Anne Volosin, and her husband, Donald, of El Segundo, Calif.; a sister, Mary Sutter Alexander of North Brunswick; a brother, Andrew of South Amboy; six grandsons and one granddaughter; four nieces and three nephews. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.
William Kent Lauzon
Mr. Lauzon, 61, of Chapin, S.C., formerly of East Brunswick and the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick, died Sept. 10, 2007, at home. Prior to his retirement in 2003, he worked for Rutgers University, New Brunswick, as a television producer/director for university projects and the game show “Rutgers Bowl” that aired on NJN public television in the late 1980s. During his 33 years with Rutgers he also served as an adjunct professor of television production and supervised the security staff on the Cook College and Douglass College campuses. After his retirement he worked with the South Brunswick YMCA. He was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and Joseph Lauzon. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Renaud Lauzon; three children, Daniele Medina, Renee Jordan, and her husband, Scott, all of St. Clair Shores, Mich., and Nicole of Ewing; a sister, Patricia Estabrook, and her husband, Michael, of Acton, Mass.; a brother-in-law, Paul Renaud, and his wife, Sharon; a sister-in-law, Denise Renaud; three grandchildren; and his stepmother, Ann Lauzon. A Mass was offered at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church, Kendall Park. Cremation was private. Interment was in South Carolina. Henry Uchno
Mr. Uchno, 86, of South River, died Sept. 10, 2007, in University Medical Center at Princeton. His wife, Pearl M. Zieminski Uchno, died in 2002. Surviving are two sons, Henry Uchno Jr., and his wife, Mary, of Monroe, and Peter Uchno of North Carolina; a daughter, Maryann Newman of North Brunswick; five grandchildren, Joel Uchno, Daniel Uchno, Adam Newman, Jaimee Newman and Peter Uchno III; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
