I’ve been reading all the negative publicity about Mr. Acropolis and it downright disgusts me. I’m not going to mudsling. I am simply going to stick to the positive issues that Mr. Acropolis wants to accomplish for Brick and its residents.
I ask you, the voters, what is wrong with Mr. Acropolis wanting a beautiful community center for us? It can only improve and benefit our community. I suffer from a debilitating central nervous system and muscle disease. Wouldn’t it be nice if I could just go over and enjoy a therapeutic swim and exercise all year round? This is one of the benefits we would have.
I have researched other communities, and they have community centers for their residents. Why can’t we? As for the Foodtown site, I’d rather sit in traffic and see a beautiful assisted living facility or hotel there, maybe even with a colored fountain outside, than look at a bunch of concrete. This would be a ratable for our town and create jobs. With Steve Acropolis as our mayor, we could have all these things.
Mr. Acropolis doesn’t want to overdevelop Brick. He wants to beautify it. With him as our mayor, I know we can only go forward. Mr. Acropolis is one of Brick’s own – our hometown boy.
As for the IRS chasing him down, not true and not fair to Mr. Acropolis. It was dirty politics. I support Mr. Acropolis and his visions for the future of our town. I urge all Brick residents to do the same in November. Let’s put the days of overdevelopment and corruption behind us with a fresh new start with Steve Acropolis as our mayor.
Let’s put the sins of the past to rest. Please don’t make the same mistake that 180 people did in the last election. Brick deserves better than that and needs Mr. Acropolis now more than ever. Brick also deserves a community center. Our township is beginning to look like a big brick (concrete). Let’s improve it and not overdevelop it.
