‘Uncle Vanya’ to begin Villagers’ new season

Villagers Theatre, a nonprofit center for the performing and cultural arts, will present “Uncle Vanya” by Anton Chekhov, Oct. 5-20, at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. on Oct. 14, at the theater, 415 DeMott Lane, Somerset section of Franklin.

The play will be the opening production in the theater group’s 2007-08 Black Box series.
