‘I Can Cope’ for newly diagnosed cancer patients

   RARITAN TOWNSHIP — Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center will offer a five-week educational program, “I Can Cope,” for newly diagnosed cancer patients.
   The program will be held Tuesdays, Oct. 16, 23 and 30, and Nov. 6 and 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the center’s conference room.
   This program will provide attendees with cancer information from doctors, nurses, social workers, other health-care professionals and community representatives. Topics include cancer diagnosis and treatment, research, nutrition, symptom management, communication skills, stress management and community resources.
   This program is offered twice per year and is co-sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Plan on attending all five sessions.
