Marlboro storekeeper did the right thing for customer

Recently I dropped off dry cleaning at First Class Cleaners on Route 79 in Marlboro. When I returned home, there was a message informing me that I was charged for three blouses when I had only brought in two.

I was told to come back to the store to correct the situation. I had looked over the receipt before I left the store and missed the error myself. When I went back, a new bill was printed up with the correct number of items.

I found this act of honesty both refreshing and conscientious on the part of the storekeeper. I might add that I am not a frequent customer of this business, which made his effort even more impressive. Needless to say, he has earned my loyalty.

I can honestly say this one time that I was not “taken to the cleaners.”
