E.B. youth invited to Knights Hoop Fest

Community Programs, an enterprise of East Brunswick Public Schools, is offering East Brunswick boys and girls in secondeighth grades the opportunity to participate in a Knights Hoops Festival on Nov. 8 and 9, the New Jersey Education Association teacher convention days. The program for youngsters in grades 2-5 will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Irwin School, Racetrack Road. Students in grades 6-8 will attend from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Central School, Cranbury Road.

The clinic will include basketball fundamentals including drills, lectures, motivation, academics, games and individual instruction. The Knights Hoop Festival staff and East Brunswick Public Schools staff will lead the event. All participants will receive a Fall Hoop Festival T-shirt, two tickets to a Rutgers men’s basketball game, two tickets to a Rutgers women’s basketball game, a self-improvement workout guide and a membership to the Young Knights Club.

Cost is $99 for the first child and $79 for the second child living at the same address.
