Martin Charles Sferrazza, 71, of Mullica Hill, died Saturday, Oct. 20, at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Washington Township Division.
Born in New York City, he served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1961 as SP5th Class, and was stationed in Germany. He was a graduate of Rider College in 1965, and was fluent in French, Italian, German and most recently, Spanish. He was employed by Congoleum Floor Co., as director of information development, retiring in 1996. He was a long time resident of Kendall park and had lived in Mullica Hill for the past seven years.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Maria G. (Zaccarelli); sons, Nicholas of Mantua and Michael of Pitman; grandchildren, Nicholas and Aly; his mother, Min Sferrazza of Highland Park; a brother-in-law, Emanuel Zaccarelli of Jamesburg; and a sister-in-law, Rosemary Bowman of Melbourne, Fla.
Friends called Thursday, Oct. 25, at Our Lady of Queen of Peace Church, 161 Pitman Ave., Pitman, N.J. Interment was at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery on Saturday. Funeral arrangements were by the Kelly Funeral Home, Pitman.
