Lillian Eland

    WEST WINDSOR — Lillian Eland died Oct. 26 at The Elms of Cranbury. She was 89.
   Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she was a former resident of Dumont.
   She was a registered nurse for the Visiting Nurse Association of New York.
   During World War II she served in the Army as a nurse in France.
   Mrs. Eland was a graduate of the Brooklyn Jewish Hospital School of Nursing and did post-graduate studies at New York University School of Nursing.
   Daughter of the late Philip and Fannie Paver, she is survived by her husband, Paul D. Eland; son and daughter-in-law Richard and Holly Eland of West Windsor; brother Daniel Paver of North Bethesda, Md.; sister Naomi Myles of Charlotte, N.C.; and grandchildren Ariel and Jeremy.
   Interment was at Beth El Cemetery, Westwood.
   The period of mourning is being observed at the Eland residence in West Windsor.
   Arrangements were by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing Township.
