Mary Jo Leipzig, 68, of Trenton died Nov. 1 at home.
Born in Bronx, N.Y., she had resided in Trenton since 1970. She was an administrative assistant for the Nancy Becker Associates in Trenton retiring in 2006. She was a volunteer at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Foundation, Lawrenceville.
Daughter of the late Ottavio and Mary Acuti Michelessi, she is survived by her husband, Mel Leipzig; a son and daughter-in-law, Joshua Michael and Paula Jacobson Leipzig of Saranac Lake, N.Y.; a daughter and son-in-law, Francesca and Louis Picone of Succasunna; a sister-in-law, Jody Sage of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren, Vincent Angelo Picone, Leonardo Louis Picone and Rayona Jacobson Leipzig; and a niece Nicole Sage.
Funeral services will be held today (Monday) at 11 a.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle, with the Rev. Stephens, pastor of the Unitarian-Universalist Church at Washington Crossing, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ewing Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. at the Unitarian-Universalist Church at Washington Crossing, 268 Washington Crossing-Pennington Road, Titusville.
