Landslide vote favors name change
Voters in Washington Tuesday overwhelmingly voted in favor of changing the township’s name to Robbinsville.
In an 1,816-693 landslide, voters approved the referendum that has been bandied in town for years. The change takes place immediately and is not expected to affect taxes in town.
