‘Two Angry Moms’ showing Thursday

6:30 p.m. at The Lawrenceville School

The Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey will hold a public screening of the film "Two Angry Moms," at 6:30 p.m. in the Heely Room, Memorial Hall of The Lawrenceville School, 2500 Main Street. Free admission for students, $5 suggested donations for adults. Event includes light food, screening and speakers, including NOFA-NJ Outreach Director Mikey Azzara and Lawrenceville School Executive Chef Gary Giberson, among others.
"Two Angry Moms," a film made by Connecticut-based film maker Amy Kalafa follows Susan Rubin, a mother from Westchester, N.Y., who started asking questions about the health of school lunches in her children’s schools and ended a year later with substantial improvements in the district’s school lunch program. The film highlights several model programs around the nation that are working to address the issues surrounding school lunch food.
