The Brick Optimist Club is encouraging area students to expound on the phrase “Today’s choices shape my future” as part of the Optimist international essay contest for 2008.
The Optimist Club will judge the essays submitted by the youth of Brick Township. College scholarships and awards are available for top winners at the local, district and international levels, totaling up to $6,800. Submissions must be received at the local level by Nov. 30.
