Frances H. Beekman

   Frances H. (Cambeis) Beekman, 90, of Lowell, Mass., and formerly of Lake City Fla., and South Brunswick, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, from complications of a stroke.
   She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Dec. 16, 1916, the daughter of the late George A. Cambeis and Marguerite (Von Gerichten) Cambeis.
   Prior to moving to the Merrimack River Valley House in Lowell, she was a nurses’ aide in Lake City. Before that she assisted with the management of Edgewood Farm, owned by Elmer C. Beekman. She was a member of Six Mile Run Reformed Church, Dayton Presbyterian Church and the South Brunswick Women’s Club. Her hobbies included gardening and reading.
   Her husband, Elmer C. Beekman, of South Brunswick, is deceased. She is survived by her children, Col. Ralph E. Beekman and his wife , Barbara, of Lake City, Fla., Nancy B. Carringer of South Brunswick and Lois B. Kelley and her husband, Robert, of Tyngsboro, Mass.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
