In response to the recent fire at the Jackson Food Pantry, Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey presented a check for $2,500 to Diane Stanaway, president of the Jackson Women of Today, at its organizational meeting Oct. 8.
The Jackson Women of Today operates the Jackson Food Pantry, which offers emergency food assistance to any resident of Jackson Township.
Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey is a not-for-profit provider of senior care services. It provides community programs such as adoption, immigration and refugee resettlement, community residences for developmentally disabled women, and affordable housing development and management.
