To the editor:
From an American veteran, I live in Fieldsboro, a couple streets over from the new Acme shopping center mall. There are some well-known stores in this mall. Acme, UPS store, Sleepy’s, Starbucks, Hollywood Tans, a Wachovia Bank, etc. This center is in Bordentown Township and Fieldsboro.
What I don’t understand is why after being open six months, or more, there is not a single American flag flying in the entire complex. This is the USA. Stand up, show it! I’ve asked at Acme about it, they pass the buck. Someone should put up an American flag. If I have to do it myself. We’re Americans, let’s not be ashamed to show it. The liquor mart across the street is owned by immigrants, they proudly fly the American flag in the parking lot.
