Richard Bielanski

   HILLSBOROUGH — Richard J. Bielanski died Nov. 5 at home. He was 73.
   Born in Manville, he lived in Hillsborough for more than 40 years.
   Mr. Bielanski was an active part of his late father’s, Joseph Bielanski, real estate development company from 1952 to 1956, at which time he served in the United States Army stationed in Germany until 1958.
   He returned to the company as an active principal until his retirement in 2003.
   He was a charter member of the Manville-Hillsborough Elks Club and a bank director of the Manville National Bank during the 1970s.
   He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
   Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Bielanski; two daughters, Susan Machia of Manville and Sandra Bielanski of Hillsborough; two sisters, Alice Barth of Bridgewater and Dolores Pelesky of Hillsborough; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral will begin at 8:15 a.m. Friday from Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
   Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today (Thursday) at the funeral home.
