Longtime Princeton resident
Antonio D. Procaccini of Princeton died Wednesday at University Medical Center at Princeton. He was 91.
Born in Pettoranello Di Molise, Italy, Mr. Procaccini was a sergeant in the Italian Armed Forces serving from 1942 through 1946.
He emigrated from Italy to Princeton, where he resided since December, 1954. Mr. Procaccini’s lifelong dedication was to his family.
Son of the late Federico and Filomena Procaccini, husband of the late Enrichetta Procaccini, brother of the late Michelina Forte, he is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Fred and Sandra Procaccini, Florindo and Diane Procaccini, Joseph and Mary Ann Procaccini, Samuel and Diane Procaccini, and Guido and Ruth Ann Procaccini; daughter and son-in-law Filomena and Gerald Perpetua; sister Maria Teresa Carnevale; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins in the United States, Canada and Italy.
The funeral will be held 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Mather-Hodge Funeral Home 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 214 Nassau St.,, Princeton.
Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
