Mrs. Zurro, 60, of Freehold Township, died Oct. 26, 2007, at home. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a teacher in the New York City public schools before her retirement. Surviving are her husband, Roger M. Zurro; two sons, Christian and Damian Zurro; a daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Kevin O’Connor; two brothers, Joseph and Nicholas Amedore; and a granddaughter, Natalie O’Connor. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colts Neck, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro. Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
