Mr. Heitzer, 82, of Manchester, died Oct. 27, 2007. He was born in Philadelphia and had lived in Mount Laurel for 28 years before moving to Manchester 15 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1990, Mr. Heitzer was an accountant with the Arrow Safety Device Co., Mount Laurel, for 36 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II who served in the Battle of the Bulge. He was also an active member of Congregation B’nai Israel and a member of the Jewish War Veterans post, both of Toms River. Mr. Heitzer was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie, in July 2000. Surviving are three sons and a daughter-in-law, Dr. Frederic Heitzer of Freehold and fiancée Sonia Kless, Murray Heitzer of Fennimore, Wis., and David and Linda Heitzer of Sugar Land, Texas; a sister, Bernice Cohen of Spring Hill, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
