West Amwell
   Oct 31 at 10:22 a.m., police went to the Educational Services Commission School on Route 179 on a report of a student who had assaulted two members of the faculty.
   Police charged a 12-year-old male from Trenton with two counts of aggravated assault.
   One teacher reported being struck by a shoe that was thrown at her. The other reported being punched in the face.
   Both teachers had minor injuries.
   The juvenile was released to a relative.
   Nov 1 at 3:35 a.m., police went to the Quick Chek store on Route 31 on a report of disorderly persons harassing a store clerk.
   Laura Vargas, 28, a employee, said a fellow employee that was not working at the time and two other people came into the store. Her coworker began to verbally abuse her, she said.
   All three left before police arrived. Complaints for harassment are pending.
   Nov. 2 at 2:40 p.m., police went to the ESC School on a report that a student had suspected marijuana.
   Upon arrival, a school administrator turned over a small amount of marijuana seized from a student.
   An 11-year-old boy from Trenton was charged with possession of suspected marijuana under 50 grams and was released to a relative.
   Nov. at 7:05 p.m., Joseph B. Fozman, 18, of West Amwell was arrested by police at the Quick Chek store on a traffic warrant from West Amwell for failure to appear on a speeding summons.
   He was released on $255 cash bail.
   Nov. 5 at 6:20 a.m., there was a car-deer accident on Route 202 near the Route 179 exit.
   Brock Mislan, 35, of Doylestown, Pa., was going north when a deer ran into the road and hit the driver’s side door, police said.
   Mr. Mislan had minor cuts to his left side and glass particles in his eyes from the shattered window.
   He was treated at the scene by the Amwell Valley Ambulance Corps, but refused to be taken to a hospital.
   The vehicle was towed from the scene.
   Nov. 5 at 9:53 p.m., Thomas Giacalone, 44, of Flanders, N.Y., was arrested on a $260 traffic warrant from Raritan Borough.
   Mr. Giacalone was stopped on Rock Road East after being observed acting suspiciously.
   A computer check revealed the active warrant and also that he was driving while suspended, police said.
   Mr. Giacalone was released without bail by Raritan Borough Municipal Court.
   He was charged with driving while suspended, having a loud or broken exhaust and failure to wear a seat belt.
   Nov. 7 at 9:35 a.m., police went to the ESC School on Route 179 on a report of a student found in possession of a knife.
   Police charged a 14-year-old Trenton male with possession of a weapon on school property. The juvenile was in possession of a combo tool, which includes a knife with a approximately 2½-inch blade, police said.
   The knife was confiscated by a member of the ESC staff after being tipped off by another student.
   The juvenile was released into the custody of a relative after being processed.
   Saturday at approximately 3:03 a.m., Jared Henrie, 20, of Pennington was charged with drunken driving after being stopped for speeding on Rock Road East near Route 579.
   He was released without bail to a family member after also being charged with speeding and underage drunken driving.
   Saturday at approximately 5:45 a.m., there was a single vehicle accident on Route 179, one mile north of Queen Road.
   Jorge Flores, 23, of West Amwell said he swerved to avoid a deer, lost control and drove into an open field.
   Mr. Flores was unlicensed and was charged with providing a fictitious international driver’s license.
   He also was charged with being unlicensed and being in possession of a fraudulent document and was released without bail.
   Saturday at 3 p.m., Maureen Gross of Route 179 said her mailbox had been extensively damaged sometime after 11 p.m. Sept. 9.
   Police said the mailbox was struck by a vehicle.
