The Community Presbyterian Church of the Sand Hills, 57 Sand Hills Road, Kendall Park section of South Brunswick, will sponsor an alternative gift market Nov. 18 from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Featured will be international craft items from Ten Thousand Villages, and gifts of animals through the Heifer Project International. There will be several display booths featuring gifts to help those in need around the world. Shoppers will be able to purchase nutritious meals to help sustain children, parents, and the elderly in the United States, or send aid to war-torn Darfur/ Sudan. Refreshments will also be available for purchase. Volunteers will be on hand to explain to shoppers how to make selections. All donations for the purchase of alternative gifts are tax-deductible.
