I want to thank the people of Lawrence Township for electing me to the Town Council on Nov. 6. I am grateful for the support of all those who voted for me and pledge to all Lawrence residents that I will do the very best job I can in serving our community.
I want to congratulate all the candidates who sought election to Town Council this year: Mike Powers and Pam Mount, who were also elected and with whom I look forward to working; and Jim Kownacki, Falk Engel and Marie Tagliaferri, whose willingness to serve has earned them the respect of every Lawrence Township resident.
I also want to thank The Lawrence Ledger for providing the candidates with access to their readers through "Campaign Corner." This is a valuable public service, and I commend the Ledger for its commitment to it.
I am proud of the campaign my running mates and I ran. We focused exclusively on the issues and worked very hard to get our message out, in a variety of ways, to every member of our community. I think the results show that voters heard what we had to say and responded favorably to it.
I look forward to doing my best over the next four years to help make Lawrence Township an even better place in which to live, work and raise a family. I appreciate the confidence the voters have shown in me and will do all I can to merit that confidence in the years ahead.
