PRINCETON— In an address at Princeton University Thursday night, former Senate Majority Leader William Frist, a Republican, told an audience at Robertson Hall that the current field of presidential candidates is less than inspirational.
According to a report in the Daily Princetonian, Frist, a one-time presidential hopeful himself, said, "America is hungry for somebody who can rise above partisanship."
Frist also said that major challenges facing the next U.S. president and Congress will , include terrorism, energy independence and the cost of health care.
