BORDENTOWN Lorraine C. Burkhart, 60, died Friday at the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Born in Trenton, Ms. Burkhart was a longtime resident of Hamilton until moving to Bordentown in 1995. She recently retired from the State of New Jersey, Judiciary Tax Court, with 25 years of service, and had been previously employed with Lenox China in Trenton. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hamilton Fire Co. District 4.
Daughter of the late William and Lydia Dey, she is survived by her husband of 34 years, Frank Burkhart; two daughters, Tracy Applegate-Dunham, and Paula Schlosser and her husband Dan; a sister, Barbara Fischer and her husband Bob; her grandchildren, Ben and Dana Woodward, and Nicholas and Brian Burkhart; a niece, Ashley Fischer; and a nephew, Matt Rickett. The Funeral Service was held Wednesday at the Saul Colonial Home in Hamilton Square. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
