BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP Martin R. Chojnowski, 62, died Nov. 6 at home.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. He retired after 30 years of service from the State of New Jersey, Department of Corrections in Yardville. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Bordentown and a former member of the church choir. Mr. Chojnowski loved to travel.
Son of the late Julius and Doris Schafer Chojnowski, he is survived by his wife Eleanor Karch Chojnowski; two aunts, Clara Chojnowski of Trenton and Charlotte Kerwick of Hamilton; an uncle, Stanley Chojnowski of Hamilton; cousins, Sara Dowd of Hamilton, Alice Devlin of Ewing, and several other cousins.
The funeral was held Monday at the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, with Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church. Burial folowed in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bordentown.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
