Raymond H. Lamberson

Mr. Lamberson, 80, of Red Bank, died Nov. 6, 2007, at St. Barnabas Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Red Bank, he was a lifelong resident. He was a general foreman of public utilities for the Borough of Red Bank for 32 years, retiring in 1991. Following retirement, he was a school crossing guard in the community. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was an exempt fireman with Union Hose Company, Red Bank. He enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Lamberson of Red Bank; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael and Marnie Lamberson of Glen Ridge, and Raymond H. Lamberson Jr. of Florida; and three grandchildren. Entombment was at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Sea Girt. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.
