Residents praised for opinion on pavilion issue

The people of Monmouth Beach have spoken by a big majority. They voted no on the spending of $2.85 million on the bathing pavilion. Do they want it repaired? Yes, but it must be what is available in money not bonding $2.85 million. Do they want the elected officials to listen? Yes, they do by a big majority. The club must be repaired but within reason and the $66,000 doors must be eliminated. The people of Monmouth Beach have spoken and the officials must follow their will. The turn out was great it proves you the taxpayer can voice your opinion with your vote and make it count.

I would like to thank the many people who helped work on this issue and devoted their time getting the facts out there to the voters. Thank you.
