Princeton-based physician Dr. Sidney Goldfarb, a urologist affiliated with University Medical Center at Princeton, will present “The Physician’s Perspective on the Nation’s Health Care System,” 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Princeton Public Library.
He specifically will be suggesting a health care reform idea, one that he says will save 40 percent of the current expenditures, while yielding increased health care coverage. He also address the issue of federal entitlements and focus on the connection between Medicare and Social Security.
A Princeton Township resident , Dr. Goldfarb has made unsuccessful bids for election to Congress, New Jersey Assembly and Princeton Township Committee.
”Even though I lost my elections, I have not lost my desire to make a difference in the way we are providing health care. I just want to fix the system for the sake of my patients and everyone else who needs health care in this country,” Dr. Goldfarb said in a statement.
The lecture is free and open to the public. Coffee will be served and no registration is required.
