Auditions applications are available for students in grades six to 12 to apply for the Middlesex County Arts High School and Arts Middle School programs.
The program provides a wide range of classes to gifted and talented children in creative writing, dance, vocal music, instrumental music, theater arts, visual arts and photography. Children must audition each year to continue in the program. Those accepted are released from their school one afternoon each week, during regular class hours, to attend the classes, which are held at the Stelton Community Center and Middlesex County College in Edison. Tuition and transportation are paid by the participating school districts.
The registration deadline has been extended to Nov. 30. Auditions will be scheduled at assigned times and will take place for Arts Middle School and High School on Dec. 9. Registration is required.
