Mrs. Hansen, 75, of Freehold, died Oct. 31, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Rahway and had resided in Keyport and Matawan before moving to Freehold in 1965. A graduate of Keyport High School, Mrs. Hansen was employed at Van’s Freehold Inns from 1970 to 1989. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Freehold. She was also a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Sirius Chapter No. 123, Matawan, and a volunteer at CentraState Medical Center’s thrift shop. Mrs. Hansen was predeceased by her husband, Peter W. Hansen, in 2002 after 52 years of marriage. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Peter and Kathy Hansen of Delran, Patrick and Margee Hansen of Freehold, and Paul and Laurie Hansen of Liberty, Mo.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Penny and Paul Ketcham and Pamela and Edward Temple, all of Freehold; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements, which were private, were under the direction of Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
