Fruit sale
   Shiloh Baptist Church of Bordentown is holding its annual fruit sale. Orders must be submitted by Nov. 25.

Autism benefit
   The High Maintenance Spa & Nail Boutique will be collecting gently used, high-end, brand name purses for consignment to benefit the ESU autism program in Edgewater Park. Fifty percent of the sale price will go to the donor, and the other 50 percent to the program.
   Donations can be dropped off at the Boutique, located at 5 Mission Road in Bordentown. The first 20 people to donate 4 or more items will get an invitation to preview the purses one hour before the event. All donations must be dropped off before Dec. 4.

Class of 1972 reunion
   Friday, Nov. 23, Saturday, Nov. 24, and Sunday, Nov. 25 — The Burlington City High School class of 1972 will hold its 35th class reunion. On Friday, there will be a tree lighting and caroling at Café Gallery. On Saturday there will be the reunion, featuring a DJ, buffet, cash bar and photographer, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Birches in Burlington. The cost is $50 per person. After the reunion the group will head to Doc’s in Burlington. On Sunday, there will be a brunch at noon at the Café Gallery, and football and wings at Doc’s later in the day. Checks should be made out to BCHS Class of 1972 and mailed to 4 Church Street, Florence, NJ 08518.

Earth talk
   Tuesday, Nov. 27 — The Bordentown City Environmental Commission will sponsor an earth talk titled “The End of Suburbia” at 7 p.m. at the Carslake Community Center, 209 Crosswicks St., Bordentown City. There will be a film about the history of suburban sprawl and the challenge of energy independence with a discussion afterward.
Youth wrestling
   Wednesday, Nov. 28, and Tuesday, Dec. 4 — The Bordentown Youth Wrestling Program will hold registration for boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth-grade for the 2007-2008 season from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bordentown Regional Middle School.

Chocolate walk
   Friday, Nov. 30 — The Downtown Bordentown Association will sponsor a holiday chocolate walk from noon to 8 p.m. in the business district of Bordentown City. Most stores and restaurants will have cakes, cookies, candy, drinks and other creative chocolate ideas for tasting.

Holiday bazaar & Make-a-Gift
   Saturday, Dec. 1 — The Roebling Elementary School FTEPTA will hold a holiday bazaar and make-a-gift from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the school’s multi-purpose room. A variety of vendors and crafters will be present, and kids will be able to make gifts for their family and friends.
Christmas bazaar
   Saturday, Dec. 1 — Mt. Zion AME Church, of 33 East Burlington St. in Bordentown, will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hope Hose Fire Station, 150 West Burlington St., Bordentown. There will be gifts, vendors, bargains and food.
Book fair
   Monday, Dec. 3 — The Bordentown Regional High School Band and Color Guard will host a book fair fundraiser at the Hamilton Marketplace Barnes & Noble. Band students will play from 5 to 9 p.m. and the Color Guard will provide gift-wrapping. The Band and Guard will receive a percentage of all book, CD and café sales when a voucher is presented. Vouchers will be accepted all day (8 a.m. to 9 p.m.) and are available from members or on the band web site at www.bordentownband.com.
Blood drive
   Friday, Dec. 7 — The American Red Cross reminds us that blood is always needed and supplies are often low, particularly during holiday seasons. St. Mary’s School in Bordentown City will sponsor a blood drive, a quick and easy way to help people desperately in need of blood and a great gift during this holiday season. If you are over 17, in good health, and weigh at least 110 pounds, call and schedule an appointment to donate.

Christmas production
   Beginning Saturday, Dec. 8 — Fountain of Life Center, 2035 Columbus Rd, Florence Township, will present the annual Christmas production “A Christmas Spectacular” at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, and at 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17.
   Marching toy soldiers, dolls and stuffed animals that come to life, a dancing Christmas tree and more add up to create a fun-filled, exciting production to watch. The nativity depiction of Christ’s birth is the highlight of the evening when all the stars shine out to celebrate with you. Spectacular set designs, music and drama make this a “must see” Christmas event for the whole family. Holiday house tour
   Saturday, Dec. 8 — The Bordentown Historical Society will host its holiday house tour from 3 to 8 p.m. This year, an extra hour has been added to the tour. Featured homes range from mid-18th to 20th century and most owners are decorating with a theme expressing family traditions or the historic period of their home. Tickets can be bought at App’s Hardware, Shoppe 202, and Silk and Tweed. The cost is $25.

Holiday sale
   Saturday, Dec. 8 — MacFarland Intermediate School’s PTO will host a holiday shopping day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the school’s gym located at the rear of the building. There will be candles, home accessories, ladies’ accessories, pocketbooks, Tupperware, kitchenware, food and more. Vendor tables are available for $30; vendors keep all proceeds.

Christmas dinner
   Tuesday, Dec. 11 — The Willitts-Hogan-Tonne American Legion Auxiliary Unit 39 in Roebling will have a Christmas dinner in place of their regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. at the Riverdeck (formerly Ed’s Bar-B-Q Ribs), Rt. 130, Burlington. The menu will consist of chicken Parmesan, 10 oz. prime rib of beef or broiled flounder. The cost is $21 per person.

Christmas party
   Thursday, Dec. 13 — The Florence Township Chapter of Deborah will hold its annual Christmas party at the VFW Post 8838 on 10th Avenue in Roebling. The party is open to all members and their friends. The cost is $15 per person and includes a hot/cold buffet, dessert, tea or coffee and punch. The deadline for registration is Nov. 29.

Horse and carriage rides
   Saturday, Dec. 15, and Sunday, Dec. 16 — The Downtown Bordentown Association will sponsor holiday horse and carriage rides in historic Bordentown City on from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $10 for children 4 and older, and children 3 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at Riverline Express Ice Cream Parlor, 222 Farnsworth Ave.
