Constantine “Connie” A. Sacharczuk, 83, of Pennington died Monday at the Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton.
Born in Poland, he moved to the United States when he was 4. He had resided in Pennington for 51 years. He was retired from the Bayer Aspirin Company in Trenton with 37 years of service.
He was a Navy Air Corps veteran of World War II and a former member of the West Trenton Elks #105. He was a member of the Colonial Sportsmen’s Club, St. James Roman Catholic Church in Pennington, and coached Little League in Hopewell Township for many years.
Son of the late Anthony and Anna Sacharczuk, he is survived by his wife, Virginia Makuch Sacharczuk; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and his wife Lily of Pennington, Randall and his wife Gail of Holland, Pa., and Richard of Hopewell Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and her husband Greg Davidson of Richboro, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Anne Sacharczuk of Pennsylvania; a step-sister, Ann Comfort of Ewing; five grandchildren, Eric, David, Jackie, Sam and Avery; and two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Alyssa.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 115 E. Delaware Ave., Pennington.
Burial will be in the St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, Ewing.
