Mr. O’Neill, 93, of Hazlet, died Nov. 2, 2007, at his daughter’s home in Hazlet. Born in Newark, he resided in Union Beach and Florida prior to relocating to Hazlet. He was a supervisor at General Motors, Linden, for 30 years, retiring in 1974. He was a communicant of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg. He was a former member of Park Avenue Volunteer Fire Department, Union Beach. He was a founder of Union Beach Drum and Bugle Corps. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean M. O’Neill, in 2002; and a sister, Ann Murrey. He is survived by three sons, Patrick O’Neill, Larry O’Neill and Ronnie O’Neill; three daughters, Ellen Jean O’Neill Pollard, Maureen O’Neill-Sacher, and Debbie O’Neill Knaus; 10 grandchildren; and 13 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Nov. 7 at 9:15 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport. Arrangements are by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
