Lambertville
   James Kries, 28, of Levittown, Pa., was arrested on active warrants Nov. 6 as a result of a motor vehicle stop.
   Police stopped Mr. Krier at 9 a.m. for speeding on Route 29 and having an unregistered vehicle.
   A check revealed Mr. Krier had two warrants for failure to appear on traffic charges in Burlington Township and Mansfield Township with bail set at $335.
   Mr. Krier was charged with speeding and having an unregistered vehicle and was released.
   An Erwinna, Pa., resident, who left her vehicle unattended and unlocked, returned to find her briefcase missing.
   The victim parked her vehicle on North Union Street in the area of Cherry Street as she ran errands at 11:30 a.m., police said.
   When she returned, she saw the vehicles doors were open and her briefcase containing personal documents was missing.
   Donald Johnson Jr., 53, of New Hope was arrested on a warrant Nov. 12 at 11:20 a.m. after being stopped on Mt. Hope Street for having a cracked windshield and a broken taillight, police said.
   Police said the vehicle was not registered and his driver’s license was suspended.
   He had a warrant for his arrest from Lambertville on traffic charges.
   Mr. Johnson was charged with driving while suspended and having an unregistered vehicle and given warnings for the other violations. He was released on bail.
   The city’s new ladder truck was used Nov. 15 to help the Lambertville-New Hope and Ambulance and Rescue Squad and police with a resident who called for help.
   Police and the squad went to a North Union Street residence at 3 a.m. on a report a women had possibly dislocated her hip and was in extreme pain.
   Rescue personnel could not remove her because of her injury so the Lambertville Fire Department got her from a third-floor window with the new truck.
   She was taken to Hunterdon Medical Center for treatment.
