Thomas Anthony Thoden, 49, of Crescent City, Fla., died Wednesday, Nov. 14, as a result of injuries sustained in a vehicular accident.
Born in Somerville, Mr. Thoden lived in Lakewood, Ohio and Dover before moving to Florida one year ago.
Mr. Thoden was a truck driver for the past 18 years and had worked for North Florida Emulsion Inc., of Florida for the past year. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. He loved to cook and enjoyed spending quality time with his friends and family. Mr. Thoden was very outgoing and charitable and always willing to help those in need.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, Peggy Dooling Thoden; his three daughters, Malinda Bowans of Elyria, Ohio, Deana Hernandez and husband, Joey, of Orlando, Fla., and Angela Basarab and husband, Joel Fernandez, of Netcong; six grandchildren, Vincent, Mandel, Ava, Armani, Isaiah and Sofia; his parents, Edward Sr. and Carmen Pedace Thoden of Bridgewater; his sister, Elaine Runyan and husband, Eliot, of South Brunswick; his brother, Edward Jr. and his wife, Deborah, of Putnam Valley, N.Y.; his niece and nephews, Leah, Duane and Jesse; and his sister in-law, Ann Thoden of Bridgewater.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Route 202, Branchburg, N.J. 08876, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 60 Maple St., Bridgewater.
