Edith M. Appelget, Monroe

   Edith M. Appelget, 95, of Monroe Village, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, at The Elms of Cranbury.
   Born in Englishtown, she moved to the family farm in Dutch Neck in 1920 where she was caregiver for her parents for many years, moving to Cranbury in 1960 and to Monroe Village in 2005. Ms. Appelget enjoyed gardening, babysitting for many families in Cranbury and playing games. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck and was also a Sunday school teacher. Ms. Appelget was a member of the Cranbury Senior Fellowship and enjoyed their activities and trips.
   Her siblings, Walter D. Appelget, M. Adele Applegate and Virginia A. Wilson, are deceased. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Cornelia S. Appelget; six nieces, nephews and their spouses, Marvin L. Applegate, Carl L. Applegate, Charles W. Appelget, Kenneth E. Wilson, Ruth Nieckoski and June Merritt; 13 great nieces and nephews; and 15 great-great nieces and nephews.
   A funeral service was held Monday, Nov. 19, at A.S. Cole Son & Co. Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Cranbury, with the Rev. Floyd W. Churn, pastor, First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck, officiating.
   Interment followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck, 154 S. Mill Road, Princeton Junction, N.J. 08550.
