Owned Anderson’s Nursery, ABC Child Care
Howard Martin Anderson Jr. died on Nov. 22 at The University Medical Center of Princeton. He was 64.
Mr. Anderson was born in Princeton in 1943 and lived in West Windsor his entire life.
He graduated from Princeton High School and earned an associate’s degree in business from Rider College. He owned and ran Anderson’s Nursery and, later, the ABC Child Care Center in West Windsor.
From 1978 until his retirement in 2006, he was proud to drive a school bus for the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District, where he was well-liked by students, parents and colleagues. He often stated that his greatest achievements were his three children.
Son of the late Howard M. and Mary Stryker Anderson, he is survived by daughter and son-in-law Melinda and Thomas Piergrossi of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; son Keith of Plainsboro; and daughter Katie of Manahawkin; and his sister and brother-in-law Judy and Dennis Hawver of West Windsor.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be conducted for the family, with burial at Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church.
