John J. Stachowicz

    John Joseph Stachowicz passed away on Nov. 26 at the University Medical Center at Princeton. He was 86.
   Born in Chicopee, Mass., he moved to Princeton in 1946 to marry his wife Mary Bonavita Stachowicz. He was the founder and proprietor of 206 Hardware Corp. for 38 years. He was a service to many in the community.
   He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary; son, Michael John of Skillman; daughters Victoria Socha of Darien, Ill., and Marybeth Stachowicz Stone of West Windsor; his grandchildren John, Larry and Katy Socha, and Michael and Caroline Stone; and his brother, Frank. of Springfield, Mass.
   The funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday from the Kimble Funeral Home, 1 Hamilton Ave., Princeton.
   A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednedsay from 3 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
