Mrs. Arkin, 86, of Manalapan, died Nov. 16, 2007, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in New York, she had resided in the Colonia section of Woodbridge before relocating to Manalapan 10 years ago. Mrs. Arkin was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, in 1996. She is survived by a daughter, Dolores Thaw of Freehold Township; a son, Steven Arkin of Rock Falls, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Burial was at Floral Park Cemetery, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick. Arrangements were by Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
