The Friends of Metuchen Library will host a trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City, on Dec. 4. The museum is newly renovated and has several special exhibits. The bus will leave the library at 8:15 a.m. and will leave the museum at 3 p.m.
The cost is $30, which includes transportation, a gratuity for the bus driver and museum entry fee; the cost is $18 for members of the Metropolitan Museum. Checks should be made payable to the Friends of the Library and presented at the main desk of the Metuchen Library on Library Place. There will be no refunds for cancellations.
Lunch may be bought at the museum’s cafeteria or cafes.
