Clara Stonaker

   TOMS RIVER — Clara Stonaker, 68, died Nov. 22 at her son’s home in Medford.
   Born in Allentown, Ms. Stonaker resided in Lawrenceville most of her life, before moving to Toms River 13 years ago. She was an administrative assistant to Governor Burn with the State of New Jersey during his stay in office. Ms. Stonaker was an artist who enjoyed painting and working with stained glass. She was an avid reader, loved the beach and bird watching.
   Wife of the late Donald Kenneth Stonaker, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Patricia Stonaker of Medford; her two daughters and one son-in-law, Lorraine Stonaker-Whelan of Edinburg, Va., and Joanne and Kirk Nemeth of Levittown, Pa.; two brothers, Louis and David Schlagel; her sister, Eleanor Castro; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Raymond and Patricia Stonaker; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   A memorial service was held Monday at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, (609) 654-2439. Interment was private at the convenience of the family.
