Police beat

BORDENTOWN CITY

   Police responded to the light rail station at 5:15 p.m. on Nov. 20 to a report of criminal mischief. Police said a driver’s side window had been broken in a vehicle and a GPS unit had been taken. Police said the value of the item was $450.

   Police said a burglary was reported at a Walnut Street residence at 6:18 p.m. Nov. 19. Police said the resident told police someone had pushed in his door and stolen a 32-inch TV, $350 to $400 in cash and several pairs of sneakers. The total value of the stolen items was $1,275, police said.

MANSFIELD

   Elijahron Williams, 20, of Bordentown, was charged at 9:40 p.m. Saturday with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they were dispatched to the Riverfront Motel on a report of a fight and found Ms. Williams in a room that smelled of marijuana. In plain view were both a small amount of the drug and several bags commonly used for packaging drugs, police said. Officers also discovered Ms. Williams was wanted on two traffic warrants by the Bordentown Township Municipal Court. She was released to the custody of the Bordentown Township Police Department.

   Roslyn Brown, 41, of Bordentown, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, various traffic offenses, hindering apprehension, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. At 2:24 a.m., police conducted a car stop on Route 130 in the parking lot of the Riverfront Motel. Ms. Brown falsely identified herself and provided a false date of birth, police said. Police attempted to place Ms. Brown under arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and hindering apprehension by providing false information to a law enforcement officer, but she resisted by using physical force against the arresting officer, police reported. Police said that after she was restrained and placed in the back of the police car, she repeatedly kicked the rear windows of the vehicle in an attempt to break the glass.
   Police said they discovered Ms. Brown was wanted for violating the conditions of her probation relating to an earlier charge of assault on a police officer. Bail was set for Ms. Brown at $10,000. She was released to the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department and later lodged at the Burlington County Minimum Security Jail.

FLORENCE

   Rodney Chambers, Jr., 19, of Trenton, was charged with possession of marijuana, and Susan Gulsan, 18, of Florence, was charged with contempt of court, Friday. Police said they were investigating a report of suspects in a green van smoking marijuana. Police searched the van and found a clear bag of marijuana in the glove compartment where Mr. Chambers was seated, police said. Police also discovered a warrant for the arrest of Ms. Gulsan from Bordentown for $350. Both were arrested and transported to police headquarters. They were released on their own recognizance pending a court date to be set.

   Aaron A. Kollmar, 28, of Willingboro, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. He was seen at 1:10 a.m. leaving the Wawa on Route 130, which is closed for renovations, and running over cones that blocked the driveway, police said. Police reported attempting to stop him as he drove for approximately half a mile before pulling onto Fairbrook Drive. Mr. Kollmar allegedly failed a sobriety test and was arrested and taken to police headquarters. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court date.
