Adam Janson, 26 of Edgewater Park was charged with serving alcohol to a person under the age of 21 and possession of fireworks and Jacqueline Erickson, 18, also of Edgewater Park, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol by a minor after police said they stopped a car driven by Mr. Janson in the parking lot of 255 Nassau St. shortly after 2 a.m. Friday. They were later released after processing.
Emilia Cherry, 55, of Newark was charged with disorderly conduct after a pedestrian stop on Nassau Street for being an unwanted person at the Nassau Inn, police said. She was seen acting in a disorderly manner by the arresting officer, police said. She was later released.
Chamseddine Azaiez, 28, of Lawrence Drive, Princeton, was charged with driving while intoxicated after his car was stopped on Washington Road about 1 a.m. Sunday.
Conrad Hough, 19, of Hamilton was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute after the car he was driving was stopped on Washington Road about 8:50 p.m. Wednesday. The front-seat passenger, Jonathan Tocco, 20, of Trenton was charged with being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The two were later released pending a court date.
A 12-year-old Princeton boy was charged with juvenile delinquency — unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes — after he detonated a homemade explosive device inside the Princeton Public Library about 4:08 p.m. Saturday, police said. There were no injuries or damage to library property, police said. The boy was subsequently lodged at the Mercer County Youth Detention Center.
Cary Schonyers, 53, of Burlington, Pa., was charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Nassau Street about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. A warrant for a total cash bail of $228 had been issued by Burlington Township Municipal Court.
Christopher Fleming, 28, of Philadelphia was charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Stockton Street about 2:51 p.m. Thursday. Six municipal courts, most in shore communities, had issued warrants totaling $4,036 cash bail, police said. He was committed to jail in default of bail.
Kim Croce-Modica, 41, of Varsity Avenue, Princeton was charged with contempt of court following a motor vehicle stop on Nassau Street about 12:51 p.m. Monday. Police said a warrant had been issued in the amount of $700 by Princeton Township Municipal Court. She was released after posting bail.

David G. Robertson, 40, of Fort Lee was charged with driving while intoxicated, speeding and reckless driving about 12:15 a.m. Sunday after police said his car was seen speeding on northbound Route 206 in the area of Ewing Street. Police said the 2005 Honda Civic was tracked at 53 mph in a 35 mph zone. He was processed at headquarters and later released to his wife.
A welding contractor accidentally started a small fire on the roof of the Princeton Shopping Center about 11:30 a.m. Thursday, police said. Christoph Hitley of Bolt Welding & Iron Works of Trenton said he accidentally set fire to the wooden structure behind a metal soffit that he had been welding as part of the renovation at the shopping center, police said. The Princeton Fire Department, with assistance from the Plainsboro Fire Department, removed a small section of the roof to allow access to the area of the roof that was smoldering. Several stores were evacuated during the incident as a safety precaution, police said.
Benjamin B. Weeks, 29, of Redding Circle was taken into custody on a number of outstanding arrest warrants about 10 p.m. Nov. 27. Police said two criminal warrants had been issued by the City of Trenton for $500 and $227 and Lawrence Township had issued a traffic warrant for $964 and Plainsboro for $750. He was unable to post bail and was turned over to the Lawrence Police Department.
Eight juveniles were arrested on alcohol charges after the 1994 Ford sport utility vehicle they occupied was stopped on Jefferson Road about 7:40 p.m. Friday, police said. In addition, the driver of the vehicle was the subject of various drug charges. The arrests followed a report of juveniles consuming alcohol in a small SUV in the area of Moore Street and Henry Avenue, police said. After the vehicle was located on Jefferson Road, the driver was charged with being under the influence of alcohol and was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance — marijuana — and possession of drug paraphernalia, having an open alcohol container and controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, and violation of the provisional driver license regulations. The other seven juveniles were charged with underage consumption of alcohol. All were later released to their parents.
Mary Ermolaev, 89, of Locust Lane was charged with not yielding the right of way at an intersection following a collision at the intersection of Princeton-Kingston Road and Locust Lane about 1:49 p.m. Saturday, police said. Ms. Ermolaev was northbound on Princeton-Kingston Road and attempting to turn left onto locust Lane. Her car turned in front of a southbound vehicle driven by Jennifer L. Schaffer, 32, of North Brunswick, police said, and a collision ensued. Ms. Ermolaev was taken to University Medical Center at Princeton with complaints of pain to her entire body, police said.
Joqaquin Ramirez, 24, of French Street, New Brunswick was charged Nov. 26 with practicing medicine without a license and aggravated assault after he allegedly injected an unknown amount of mercury into the forearm of a female friend on Nov. 22 as part of a Santeria ritual, police said. The injection took place on Red Oak Row, police said. The victim, feeling ill and observing her forearm become sore and swollen checked into the emergency room at the University Medical Center at Princeton two days later for treatment, disclosing the nature of her injury to medical authorities. Police said Mr. Ramirez was taken into custody on an unrelated warrant while he was attempting to visit the victim in the hospital and was subsequently charged in the injection incident. Bail was set at $10,000 and he was released on bail Thursday from the Mercer County Corrections Center.
Zachary Devito of Wayne, Pa., was struck by a car while attempting to cross Washington Road in the area of Ivy Lane about 5:24 p.m. Saturday, police said. The driver, described as a white male with brown hair driving a dark colored sedan, possibly a Honda or Chevrolet, stopped and asked if Mr. Devito was all right, police said. When Mr. Devito said he was not all right, the motorist drove off in the direction of Route 1. Police are asking anyone with information on the incident to call Patrol Officer Christopher Best at 609-921-2100.
