Owned Grovers Mill Co.
PLAINSBORO — Robert E. Kemp died Monday at University Medical Center at Princeton. He was 66.
Born in Trenton, he graduated from Princeton High School in 1960, and resided in Plainsboro all his life.
He was the owner of Grovers Mill Co., a lawn and power equipment company in West Windsor.
He was a graduate of Teterboro Aeronautics, past master of the former Cranbury Lodge, now Apollo Lodge No. 156 Free & Accepted Masons of Cranbury, member of Tall Cedars of Lebanon of Trenton Forest No. 4, member of Crescent Lodge A.A.O.M.N.O.S. Valley of Trenton, former member of Plainsboro Fire Company, member of Peddie Golf Club, former member of Thendara Golf Club of Old Forge, N.Y., and active member of Bucks County Hogs.
Son of the late Joseph E. Kemp Jr. and Annabelle Kemp Watlington, he is survived by his wife, Judy A. Kemp; son Robert E. Kemp II of West Windsor and his children Evamarie and Megan E. Kemp; daughter and son-in-law Robbin Lynn and Mark E. Dean of Pigeon Forge, Tenn. and their son Austin E. Kemp; step-brother and his wife Robert and Martha Watlington of Plainsboro; step-sister and her husband Patricia and Bill Adams of Pennsylvania; sister-in-law Patricia A. Higgins of Hamilton; aunt Helen Foster and cousin Roy Foster of Tennessee; and cousins Jim and Betty Houtenville of Florida, Donna Prickett of Plainsboro, and Linda Jusiewicz and Joan Appleget, both of Florida.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church of Plainsboro, 500 Plainsboro Road, Plainsboro.
Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery, Princeton.
Calling hours will be held 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
