• Jersey Cares Coat Drive, sponsored by the Goddard School of South Old Bridge, drop off from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the school, 1480 Englishtown Road, Old Bridge. Dec. 6-23

• Food Drive, to benefit the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, at Vogue Hair and Nail Studios, Ticetown Square Mall, intersection of Route 9 and Ticetown Road, Old Bridge. Public encouraged to bring at least one can of nonperishable goods to the salon or donate $1 to the cause. All donors entered into a free raffle to win a gift basket of products valued at more than $200. Monetary proceeds, food donations go to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. (732) 679-2822.

Dec. 6-24

• Gift-Wrapping Service, sponsored by East Brunswick Hadassah, to benefit all Hadassah projects, including medical research for a breast-cancer cure, during regular hours, at Brunswick Square Mall, Route 18, East Brunswick. For a nominal fee, gift items purchased from any store at the mall or elsewhere will be wrapped with seasonal or all-occasion papers and decorated with creative ribbon designs. • Winter Wonderland 2007: The True Meaning of Christmas, sponsored by Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Milltown, 8-11 p.m. on Dec. 7, 7-10 p.m. on Dec. 8, 4-7 p.m. on Dec. 9, Mill Pond Path, Milltown Rescue Squad Building, Main Street. Welcome the sights, lights, sounds of the holiday season while strolling along the path. Christmas gifts, refreshments, holiday decorations available for purchase. Cost: one or more new, unwrapped toys. Dress to work out and bring water, towel. Individuals who donate a toy are entered to win a free January boot camp; the more toys donated, the more raffle tickets earned.
