The Hillsborough Beacon, in conjunction with the township Department of Social Services, will host its annual Give A Holiday program through 4 p.m. Dec. 14.
If you or an organization would like to choose a family or individual for whom to buy items on the holiday list, you may do so by calling Mary Stulack at 359-0850 and letting her know your decisions.
All gifts must be new, unwrapped and a sticker placed on each item identifying the family number, age and gender of the person. Wrapping paper, gift bags and tags also will be accepted so items can be gift-wrapped by Social Services.
The Social Services Department also will accept money, gift certificates and nonperishable food items. You may deliver these items to the Social Services Department, located in the municipal complex, (entrance and parking lot located on the left-hand side of the building off South Branch Road entrance) in Hillsborough.
You may also contact the Social Service Department at 369-3880 for information on additional families that have special needs for the holiday.
